Our seat cover fits most cars and trucks. However, due to every car being different, we always recommend comparing the dimensions of our product with the backseat of your car before ordering.

We love our autopaws hardcover. We have two large dogs (see photo) and the autopaws hardcover easily holds their weight. You can use the door cover or tuck it under the seat cover. Love the hard bottom! I have a pretty clumsy dog and with other brands we’ve tried he tends to fall (and get stuck) in the gap between the front seats and back seats. Our dog loves this one because now he can be as close as possible to us in the front! 10/10 recommend!!
I bought this hard surface car seat cover a few weeks ago and love it. It fits in the back seat of our Tesla 3 (sedan) perfectly and allows our dog (45 pounds) to stand easily. While he remains tethered, he is able to lie down closer to the back vent, located between the front seats, which also supports his need to be close to us. His car anxiety appears to be lessened, for long car rides, as a result. I really appreciated the great customer service offered to me. There was a minor glitch with the order but the Autopaws team member responded immediately, was friendly and helpful and promptly resolved the issue. Wish we’d bought this years ago! So solid and stable for our dog but also easy to fold out of the way for a human to sit in the back with her. Just home from a road trip and she was so happy in the car.
This seat cover is, in one word, FANTASTIC!!! My golden retriever has never been one to lay down anyway (too much to see out there), but I can tell she feels more secure with this cover. I will say, the seatbelt is a tad short but unless she grows more, it will work for now. She does slide from the centre of the vehicle to either side, but I think she thinks it’s fun haha! Highly highly recommend??

We have a very large St. Bernard/Bernese Mountain Dog cross and the seat cover is perfect for him. The mesh barrier in front of the cover is very helpful in helping him to stay put when sudden stops occur. It really helps cover and protect the leather seat.

The hard bottom seat cover fit perfectly in the back seat of my truck...with a few adjustments of the straps it was secure and ready to go.. my dog has lots of room to lay down and stretch out and the seat belt clip gives just enough room to secure him in the seat.
So far so good! When it arrived and I saw the hard bottom inserts were a corrugated plastic, I was worried it wouldn't support the weight of my 2 boxer dogs, but so far it is working great. I've only had it for about a week, but the quality seems good. It has helped my car-anxious dog feel less afraid during car trips. He is able to settle and is not panting anymore.
It’s been a week and absolutely love it. My large dog also lives it. Will need to test for a long drive and see if she is calmer. It also looks great in black 👌🐶
So far we are really pleased. We have 2 large dogs ( one is 105lbs, 1 is 90lbs) and the floor of autopaws supported them with no trouble.
The fabric did a great job of protecting the seats. One dog got a bit car sick. The mess cleaned up easily. We have the autopaws mat ( minus the hard inserts) in the wash now.

I had one of your covers before and then I bought what turned out to out to be a copy from another vendor, it looked very similar but when that one started to wear out I decided to go back to the original. The true AutoPaws sits a bit taller in the vehicle and has the nylon quick release buckles which the fake did not… I am very pleased with the purchase…

I have an 86 lbs dog and I initially purchased the smaller versions of the dog seat but it did not work for us. This full cover is perfect. It allows the dog to lay down and relax. It also allows the dog to change which side of the suv he sits on, so when it's too sunny on the passenger side he moves to the driver's side of the back seat. I would buy this one again.

Love it! This fits our large Nissan Armada and also perfectly fits our little VW Golf(pictures). The only complaint I have is the “included” seatbelt. Love that it connects with all seatbelt receivers, but the harness clasp doesn’t seem very heavy duty at all…especially for a 95 lb and probably still growing lab puppy. A carabiner type connection would be much better in the unfortunate chance of an accident. Otherwise the cover itself so far is fabulous.
Just bought our second hard bottom seat cover since we got a second vehicle. After looking at other seat covers, though cheaper, don’t have hard bottoms or side covers for the door, i decided to get AutoPaws still. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they’ve improved the product! The clasps are now more finger friendly, and the seat belt comes with bungee section, which fits our large dog better.
The only part I had to repair, and this is after many months of constant use with a large dog (90+lbs), is the bottom fabric. Overall, this is still the best dog car seat cover I’ve found.

This is a good product, so far. I was skeptical about it but it lives up to the positive reviews. Easy to install…..literally takes minutes. Sure saves our back seats from muddy, wet paws. And the fact our furry friend can walk/stand on it and still look out the front window of the car but cannot climb into the front seat is perfect.

After a quick and easy install I invited Bailey to hop on and try it out. She seemed slightly confused by it but quickly adapted to using all the extra room.
She used to stand with her front feet on the console for a better view but we always worried if we had to brake quickly she could slip and end up hurt.

What a fantastic addition to my dogs 'stuff.' She is well contained and can sit and lie down on a flat surface with no protruding seat-belt buckle. We have the option to add blankets, towels or anything else that the occasion might call for in terms of her travel needs or level of mess.
Bought this for my golden retriever in the back of my suv. He wasn’t a fan of sitting in the far back with his bed but the backseats weren’t very safe or comfortable either. This gives him a stable spot, lots of room to get comfortable and still look out the window. He’s very calm in the car but the added protection makes me feel like he’s more secure.
Good fit for the back seat of my Toyota Tacoma. I have two large dogs - as might be expected, the German Shepherd usually hogs the whole seat, leaving the lab to squeeze in where she can. This seat cover provides a much more comfortable space for the two of them. Haven't had much time to test in out yet, but so far I am impressed with the quality.

This is the best dog seat cover that I have seen. This is the third or perhaps the fourth rear seat cover that I have purchased for my F-150 Supercab. Most are just big lumpy seat blankets that slide off onto the floor or have big holes behind the seats for the dog to fall into. This system allows the dogs (I have 2 seventy pound hounds) to move around and lay down comfortably without falling off the small rear seat. I wish there was a model that fit my F-350 Crew Cab. Worth the money.

We bought a new mid-sized car and didn't want it to be covered in hair like our last car. We installed the hard bottom seat cover in the back seat and were delighted that it fit so well. Because the hard bottom extends right to the backs of the front seats, it gave our three dogs (one large, two small) lots of room. It also gave us storage space on the floor under the hard bottom of the seat cover. I highly recommend this product. It's well designed and well made.

My order shipped within a couple of weeks and took another couple weeks-ish to arrive. Tracking worked great though so I could keep an eye on ETA. We just got it set up in my husband’s Subaru Ascent and it looks great. Took two of our three dogs for a ride and they loved it. Gave them lots more room to stretch out, especially seeing as though the backseat has two captain’s chairs. Looking forward to trying out with three dogs and see how it holds up.

I kept seeing this seat cover and finally thought that I’d order one…it came the seat cover and 3 boards 😳 it took me a minute to figure it out that there was a zipper and 3 pockets to slide in the boards and zip it up…once I got past that.. Really like the large vent so that my pups can still get some air from the front…stitching seems pretty decent and noted the side panels zip up and have straps with metal clips not plastic to ensure that they stay up!

Although it’s a tight fit in the small cab of my Chev Colorado it’s made a huge difference for my dog Stanley jumping in and out and getting comfortably situated for the drive. The snap leash is awesome for keeping him in the back seat when I have to leave him if even for two seconds! I still have to get him to understand not jumping out when I open the door and he is still hooked up… that was not good for him first time as he got twisted up. Otherwise since then fantastic!

The AutoPaws bench seat cover is fabulous. I have an older dog si now he doesn’t end up in the wheel well if his weak end gives out. It is much more secure than the regular seat covers. It is sturdy and well constructed. It arrives in good time too! Very happy with this product.

Easy to put in and take out when you need space for “human passengers”, and it is fantastic that the vents in the back are only covered by mesh so that the a/c or heat, are not blocked.
It fits our SUV PERFECTLY…IT ALLOWS GREAT AIRFLOW TO THE BACK SEAT. Our 13 week old pup is safe and secure in her harness that is tethered to the seat belt.
Our senior flat coated retriever enjoys the extra space and seems to feel more secure. with the hard base.
We like to let our little girl run around as she doesn’t like to be confined. She loved the freedom but was surprised she couldn’t get up front with us. It was perfect for us as we don’t get scraped from her paws. This fits great in our Traverce. Great product. No pictures yet but I may send one later.
Works beautifully and the seatbelt holds good and the hard bottom is beautiful for the dogs only drawback is with holding up the ends as we have a 2024 silverado 4 door and the rear doors don't have an overhead grab rail or a garment hook. SO with the straps supplied the forward handheld doesn't work well and they are to short for that application.
It's a little too large in width for a Lexus UX 250h but it does the job well for the seats. For the door however we bought the RUFF ROVER which is well designed for coverage but the tabs that hold it in place fail often and its slips off. Can someone find a more secure solution.

Recently completed a 2000 km journey from Sudbury Ontario to Lunenberg Nova Scotia. Our Great Pyrenees dog had the entire back seat of our pickup with Autopaws and his bed. Our dog loved the trip and slept most of the way and had plenty of room to stretch.

I’ve tried MANY seat covers, but none had the hard bottom. This is the only seat cover that has stayed in place! Plus I have three dogs and a Toyota Tacoma. With all three of them back there, I need all the extra space the hard bottom provides.
My Golden, Papi, loves it. I put her bed back there for her to be more comfortable. We are about to do a cross country drive and I feel better now knowing she’ll be very comfortable.

The cover is tricky to attach to the head rests on the back seat of a 1 ton truck but it can be done! The hard bottom provides a much larger area for the comfort of a large breed dog. You will be happy with this seat cover! We are!

I’m always skeptical of products advertised on these Facebook ads. I took a chance on this one and am absolutely THRILLED that I did! This seat bottom is exactly as advertised. Our dog gets carsick (😔) and we just pulled it out and hosed it off! A different time I was able to scrub it with a soapy car wash brush. It came out good as new! It really IS waterproof! And I have no idea what some people on these reviews are complaining about regarding the hard bottom. It’s pretty solid! Would 100% recommend this product!

Our new backseat cover is working well for our dog. It provides a firmer and more comfortable area for our dog to travel and it easily accommodates the seatbelt we use for her. It goes into and out of the car quickly but we’ve been inclined so far to leave it in. It doesn’t even seem to be negatively affected by us adjusting the front seats as needed. And it’s great we can fold one side out of the way when we want to use one back seat for a human passenger or parcels. It also seems better at containing dust and fur than out precious products. So far we’ve been very pleased with it.

This was a good choice for our dog as she is comfortable laying or standing in the back seat with no fear of falling as she did in the old one. We can store things in the foot area under the flat bed surface as well.

I've struggled to make our back seat more comfortable for my 15 year old dog.
Putting a soft bed doesn't work. That just leads to a mushy base that an old dog with arthritis finds difficult to get up from.
This solution is fantastic. He's able to get up more easily, which means he changes positions, more often, on long 26 hr drives.
Then there is the issue of the screen. Perfect placement. And I love how it folds out of the way when need be.

For longer road trips, we use the seat belt feature for additional safety. The only thing I’d say should be improved is the weight/thickness of the seat panels. They’re not bad for my dog (30 kg) but I can see them being too flimsy and subject to bending for larger breeds.
Definitely recommend, but be sure to measure your seats’ depth before purchase (distance from back of seat to edge of front seats. The unit fits in my jeep perfectly, but in my friend’s truck, the distance is way wider than the unit so she had to return hers.

Now we don’t have a console copilot he can look out of the side window instead.

I am very happy with this new seat cover. I have gone through several of the others which my poor pup was never really comfortable but now has the entire back seat and can move around without losing balance because of the firm and solid board that he can walk on. I highly recommend this for anyone who places their pup in the back seat.

The seat cover is well made and the hard bottom over the wheel well is a definite improvement over my old seat cover. The one issue I have is that the material is still a bit slippery for my dog to walk on. I fixed that, however, by putting a non-skid yoga/exercise mat on top of it.
I had very high hopes for this and it does function reasonably well, but I find the velcro closures at the horizontal seam (possibly for the seatbelts?) open easily, allowing whatever is on the surface of the cover to escape onto the seat. For this reason, I am giving it only 4 stars. Also my elderly dog finds the surface slippery and it's harder for him to use it than my grippy seats. I probably will be happier in the winters when we have wet dogs constantly in and out of the car, but I was disappointed on the velcro thing. If that is indeed designed for the seat belt, it could have been better with a closing tab on top (like a pocket).
We have a big dog and he loves the extra room he gets with the autopaws.
Not only does it create extra space right to the seat back but it is flat so he isn’t slipping backwards.
The seatbelt tether is a perfect addition for his safety as well.
It is very well designed and adjusts easily to fit excellent.
Only issue is you have to lower the seat divider in order to have the A/C vents unobstructed.

Works very well to calm my dog during card rides. I wouldn't have believed it! Easy to install and uninstall. However, I did expect a highly quality due to the high price. I feel it is worth about half the cost. Will see how it stands up over time.
This product does the trick It’s easy to install and is pretty solid. My rescue is getting used to it, the movement is just a little different then a solid bottom.
Love the quality and the design, but the material is slippery and of course due to the hard inserts that make it what it is, the comfort of the cushioning of the back seat is gone. To mitigate these two factors we have bought a crate mat that makes it more comfortable and less slippery for our dog. But we love the pockets and love the full net panel for visibility and air flow.
Looks good. Sturdy so far. Surface doesn’t have much texture resulting in dog sliding around rounding turns and roundabouts. Had to buy a dog mat with soft top and anti-slip backing, now she’s sure footed in the back and more relaxed.

It's easy to install and offers great coverage of the backseat and side panels. It does shift around a bit, which might be related to how frequently we move our driver's seat which results in the cover loosening. The dog seems comfortable which was the goal!
It is super easy to install and remove. The seat belt is a little too short for my dog to stick her head out the window so I extended it using one of the (door)side flap straps. I can’t say my dog is more relaxed using the auto paws although I feel much better having the solid platform and seat belt for safety and comfort.

The seat cover is a perfect fit in our standard-sized vehicle. We can tell our pup feels more secure back there now that the gap is filled in by the full/solid platform (vs the unstable hammock-style seat cover we had before). I’m really satisfied with the product and honestly super surprised -in a good way- about the quick and efficient customer service I received via email (we emailed back & forth a bit over some pricing details & questions I had).
We’re really happy with the AutoPaws Hard Bottom Seat Cover. The material feels durable and well made. The hard bottom does not extend out beyond the seat of our F150 as shown in the photo, however, everything fits well and feels secure once installed. There is still plenty of room for our 80lb Lab.
It looks clean and well designed in the vehicle, not bulky or awkward, and it’s comfortable for our dog while also protecting the seats. Overall, it feels sturdy, practical, and thoughtfully designed. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone traveling with a dog.

I wish there were zippers next to the mesh screen part like many of the other options that are otherwise identical. The seat cover seems sturdy enough.

I love the design and the size. I also love the reinforced straps that make this model much more robust than other dog hammocks. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the cheap plastic “rigid” inserts. For the price I expected more and that’s why I didn’t give a full five stars. Still, I would recommend this product to others.
The product is a very good design and seems well made. My major grievance was being led to believe that this product was MANUFACTURED in Canada. If I knew it was shipped from China.....this would have definitely NEVER been purchased from your company. More than it coming from China, my largest grievance was the suble deception of it being manufactured within Canada. The higher price point was certainly no indication that this item was manufactured overseas.
Major disappointment as this household along with many family and friends are agressively attempting to seek out Canadian made products of all kinds.
The cover is great, nice shape and fit for my Tacoma. All of the fasteners and hooks are metal instead of plastic, so things are much better quality. Seems to hold our ~60 lb dog ok but I do think the hard bottoms could be a little thicker. It’s corrugated plastic and seems to hold but still sags and bends at the corners when the “bucket” is not fully strapped up. If the plastic was a bit thicker or harder it wouldn’t sag. Also the material is great annd water resistant but slippery for the dog. He often wants his nose out of the window or stands so when driving he is slipping around. Otherwise still way better quality than others I’ve bought and worth the purchase!

fits well in my new Tacoma and every easy to set up. Dog seems comfortable with it but is unsure of the ride. Suspect it may be a little high for her compared to riding in the back of our SUV. May take some getting used to. Overall, however, I am quite happy with the product and would recommend it to others.
I really like the hard bottom carrier for my Corgie. Although he isn’t quite sure about it. He loves standing on the mesh with his two front paws hanging over. One thing you should improve on is the side panels to protect the doors. The cords don’t hold worth a darn. Also they are way too long for my Kia Sportage.

Love that it has the inserts so my 68 pound dog is able to utilize the whole back seat area and can lie down comfortably. What kept me from giving it a 5 star rating is the fact that it is pretty slippery. I needed to put down a water absorbing dog mat with a rubber backing for more traction. Other than that it’s pretty good.
The velcro around the seat belts is a bit thin. They don't stay closed / the velcro sticks to the dogs fur.
One other suggestion. Add larger stronger clips to the leashes that attach to the dogs harness.
works great in a Nissan Xterra! Our Darby dog - chocolate lab has broken it in with a soggy drive home from the river. No dampness on the back seat and all the sand stayed on the hard bottom seat cover.

One thing I didn't like was that the middle mesh screen only zips on one side. Scoob likes to snuggle on the armrests from time to time, this screen makes it uneasy for him to do that with only one side able to unzip.

I was hoping it would be more sturdy. It will work now when they are puppies but not for much longer.
My only complaint is that the mesh flap that goes between the front seats could be a little higher. Even my 3 month old puppy can climb over it. Other than that I have no complaints!

We really like it! Not as well made as we would have hoped, especially considering price. One of the zippers along side, broke while we were doing it up. Regardless, it's better for dogs in back seat, gives them more room.

The ads keep coming up on facebook etc which is annoying. I don’t know how many of these things you want me to buy. I have one already. Give it a rest. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I won’t recommend based on this.
Pictures and videos showed the vented mid console area had zippers on either side, it did not. This was one of the main reasons we bought this. So we cut it. Took a few days for our dog to get used to it. The 3 hard panels kind of act like a surf board.

It took about two weeks to arrive from the date ordered. Came well packaged. It seems well made and so we will how it holds up. My only criticism is that I wish it didn’t block the vents in the back seat and that the mesh extended a little lower, this would ensure that the dog is getting some ventilation.
This is great for the dog to spread out on and it protects my new car. My only comment is that the material is very slippery and the inserts are just hard cardboard with no padding so I hear her sliding around sometimes if I take a corner too quickly. I'm going to have to get some blankets for her to make it a little more comfortable.

When I watched the video I was under the understanding this was slip relistent and that the netting part between the seats had an option zipper. I one I received did not. The cover works really well for large breed dogs and super easy to clean.
I liked that this was a Canadian company but was surprised it took a long time to arrive. The seat cover is nice. Was easy to assemble and fits my Elantra well. I question the max weight listed as the boards didn’t feel sturdy enough to support that much weight. Gave 4 stars because I was disappointed the mesh didn’t zip down like how it was shown in the promotional videos.
My backseat of the car has bolster sides so it doesn’t sit flat seems to work ok tho. It’s a bit too small for the truck back seat but it works, not sure if they come in a larger size for pickups?
I do enjoy the seat protection that the cover provides, I wish that it had a zip down in the middle as an option.

Very disapointed and feel that we were mislead! If we knew ahead of time no way we would have ordered. If we wanted a China made product we would have ordered on Amazon for quite a bit cheaper!

This worked great for our recent trip to Florida. We split the driving into 3 days and she had lots of space to move about and stretch out to sleep. She was safe in the back and could not get into the front of the truck. I’m so glad we made this purchase.

Just installed last night. Looked sturdy and my GSD seemed comfortable moving around and lying in it. Nice to know she won’t fall off seat if we have to break quickly

I took a star off because the cover doesn’t fit my car well and the mesh window in the middle doesn’t zip down.

Quality of stitching and materials met my expectations. Fit well in my Honda Ridgeline. It does have a strong new synthetic smell immediately out of the package so I recommend letting it air out for a few days before putting in your car.

Once I figured out how it goes together it works great. I didn't realize there are pockets one needs to slide the panels in. instructions would have been helpful.

While the seat over, hard bottom, and side panels are still in good shape the clips and hanging straps were broken and chewed off within a week. A sturdier clip, a higher density strap would really improve the product.
It’s nice but the hard panels are not long enough to cover the empty floor space area and there were no instructions on where you place the panels ( do they go inside somewhere? I can’t find openings for them. I just have them underneath on the seats and put the product on top, this doesn’t seem correct to me.the dog seems to like it though so I’m all right with the product, it keeps him in his area safely.

I love how it fits the back of my car perfectly but my dog hates it. He doesn't find it a solid bottom and rather than sitting looking out the window as he used to, he
lays down, cowering as he is unsure about the steadiness. :(
